Situated on Beqa Island, this beachfront resort is surrounded by tropical gardens and offers a restaurant, a bar and swimming pool. Guests have free use of kayaks and can go diving on the lovely coral reef.

Enjoy a massage or treatment at the open-air beachfront day spa or just relax on the sun terrace beside the pool. There is daily cultural activities and entertainment including Fijian dancing, fire walking and kava ceremonies.

Please note that boat transfers and a meal plan are mandatory and must be booked in advance with the property prior to arrival.

The boat departs from the Pacific Harbour Pearl Resort Marina daily at 11:00 or 16:30. Departure from Beqa Lagoon Resort is at 10:00.

The cost for a round trip boat transfer is $208FJD per person. A charter boat may be arranged outside of our regular boat schedule for an additional fee. The property can also assist with ground transfers from Nadi Airport to the boat launch and transfer time is 2.5 hours. The transfer time from Suva Airport to the property's boat launch is 1.5 hours. Cost for round trip ground transfers are $216 FJD per person.

What was the highlight of Beqa Lagoon Resort

Beqa Lagoon is a diamond in the rough - a 3 star resort delivering a 4+ star experience... this property is in first phase of a major refresh (don't worry, this does not mean it is a construction site! Upgrades and maintenance happening in the background) and so will only get better. Expect a genuine & heartfelt Fijian welcome & then for your hosts to know and address you by name. The location is exceptional with some of the best snorkelling straight off a beach we've ever experienced. The bures are comfortable, spacious and with welcoming air-conditioning for a good night sleep on a great bed. The solar hot water might not have the greatest pressure (work in progress) but it is unlikely you would want a hot shower given the climate! Finally, expect to eat the best fresh food for lunch & dinner - and hopefully you'll experience the lovo evening: spectacular!! We'll be back.

The high standards of the lunch & dinner menu left the breakfast looking a little plain by comparison... a few more fresh fruit selections and options for vegans (...I Know....) would be great.

I was the only diver in my group of three, and based on so many previous reviews talking only about the diving, we were worried that the non-divers would get bored if we stayed for too long, and therefore only booked 3 nights. Big mistake. We all wish we had stayed far longer. There was loads to do for the non-divers with a reef right outside the front of the resort and daily activities organised by the resort staff. The staff were amazing, accommodation was great, and food was fantastic. By far the best place we stayed in Fiji.

Great stay

We had a lovely 5 nights at the resort. The Fijian staff are fantastic and worked hard under difficult conditions with the pandemic to give us a great experience. The positives: The resort staff who are all local to the island we’re wonderfull, especially Filo the manager who had to reorganise plans and deliver bad news all of the time due to the pandemic. She was fantastic! The food was also fantastic, a choice of three options for lunch and dinner each day, all fresh local produce. The extra activities including the fire walking show, cooking class, warrior dance and secret island trip were great. The negatives: Not many.. but the diving was difficult to plan and book as so many people were diving on the resort. People were paying the dive staff extra to get a place on the dive boats. Our shark dive was massively oversubscribed and safety could have been compromised. We were late to the site and we only ended up with a one very short shark dive, still it was amazing and worth it. I put some of these issues down to the time of year (Xmas and new year)and the weather conditions. The dive shop doesn’t have computers so bring your own. Overall Beqa resort is a very special place, the people and diving are world class and I would return like many have to this wonderfull place. Just don’t expect everything will go to plan and be patient and understanding with the staff.

Beautiful tropical natural

The island had a natural vibe as employees are mostly from local tribes. Tai and Joe gave a lot of personal energy to make activities fun. Food was good.

I didn’t need the plunge pool at my room. And I didn’t like the noise of the pump. I really can’t fault the place. All very beautiful and well organised.

Paradise! Scuba diving heaven

This place was paradise. Our room was large, excellent air conditioning and clean. Meals were the best. Everyday we got to choose our food and it would be freshly cooked for us. The staff were some of the kindest and helpful people I’ve met. They all made us feel welcome Shark dive was out of this world. Recommended for experienced divers

We had a light outside our window which was on all night. Nothing major but would have been nice to have the option to turn it off

Good place to stay in Beqa.

Great place to stay on Beqa. Well kept properly with nice gardens and facilities. Food quality was always great and we enjoyed free activities on site like village visits or hikes which other resorts in Fiji often charge for. Decent house reef for snorkeling enthusiasts though seen better in Fiji. Staff were always nice and helpful.

The beach isn’t the greatest, some debris along the beach.

I really liked our appartment but there need a little bit a renovation in the bathroom. Anyway the room was all the time cleaned. Staff was all the time smiling and nice to us. I have to say about SPA. The ladies are excelent and I recommend to go at least for some massage. Location beautiful and quiet. Very relaxing resort and good sleeping there. We saw the sharks close to the beach and it was something. I have nothing more to mention because we caught very bad weather.

We met rainy weather when is staying really useless in that point. There is no activities during the rain except the massages which are overloaded. They should mention when you book this accomodation that there is limited schedule for all activities and every day different events. So, if you don´t know then you can come and to have very boring time because you miss the most interesting events or the performers will not come at all due the weather. For that money and for our age 35 it was just waisting of money. No water activities because of wind and rain. But my husband was happy that I stopped for a while and relaxed :D

We loved extra comfy beds with high quality mattresses and linen. The resort has a really relaxed vibe with super friendly staff and the food was very good.

Not much to say. Small details - I didn't like the tiles in the bathroom but that's a question of taste and the bathroom was clean.

World-class dive experience, a fantastic resort; not cheap, but worth it.

The room is large and comfortable, safe and quiet. The garden landscape is gorgeous. There are birds and frogs; you can feel their protection of the environment, get close to nature, and relax. The meals are delicious, and choosing tomorrow's meals in advance every day does not waste food, but you can always eat what you want - which is very good. The massage is also fantastic :D Although on the island, at least two free activities are arranged daily, the activities are different daily. In addition, there are also paid activities. There is also a shop inside the resort, so you won't be bored after a few days. Most people will participate in scuba diving, which is one of their specialties, especially the shark feeding dive, which is impressive. Definitely, it is worth spending a few days here. However, you have to plan ahead, their dives are every day, but the world-level shark feeding is only Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Resort accommodation and spending are not cheap, but you can feel your money is worth it. The events at the resort always surprise us; we are treated to fresh coconut water and a free ten-minute foot massage. I hope to return and stay more days - 2 nights are too short!

The room was excellent, the best I've stayed in Fiji. It's a pity that the room's design cannot be ventilated, meaning the air conditioner must be turned on at night. It would be great if the room could be ventilated, just like houses in Fiji, for the reason of eco-friendly. I also think the free drinking water in the resort can be improved; my stomach seems sensitive to the drinking water.

What was the highlight of Beqa Lagoon Resort

the snorkelling place which was named secret island was one of the best experience, the island appear only for a few hours because of the tide. the resort organised the boat there and the staff provided us the snorkelling masks kindly since we did not bring our own (when we did snorkelling in other places like Thailand, they provided everything). The staffs in the main office were very nice, they helped us charge our phones since our charger was broken and they offered us a spared one. Besides, when we all got sunburnt, they recommended us the lotion which was effective. the villa we stayed faced the beach and the view was great.

though the spirit of Fiji travelling is said to be leisure and relax, it should not be the reason for unpunctual and unorganised. Firstly, the boat to the Beqa island was scheduled on 4.30pm, we arrived the harbour at 3.40ish and did not get on board until 5.30pm. I called and emailed the resort, no response. we have been travelled on other islands of Fiji, no transport was ever late. Secondly, we signed up for the secret island snorkelling one day in advance, and double confirmed the meeting time was 9.00am the next morning. When we arrived 9.00am sharply (every other activities we attended were at least 20 mins late), we were told the boat was on its way, and we could see it in distance on the ocean, obviously no one check the sign up list and count the number of participants. The boat came back to pick up us, which we felt grateful, but this was a totally unnecessary waste of everyone's time. Thirdly, double check your bill is highly recommended, since we found $75 bar consumption which obviously did not belong to us was listed in the bill. We've paid over A$2000 for the whole stay and I think that was more than sufficient to cover what we had here (plus an extra 3% card transaction fee was added by handwriting which I doubt the compliance). I would definitely choose larger brand resorts to avoid such sneaky and unexpected behaviour considering the not-low star rating.

Excellent

Away from hustle and bustle with a coral reef 50m off beach. Our divers had a brilliant dive with the sharks. The staff are absolutely wonderful and it felt like staying with friends, we knew all their names after a couple of days.

Bar was out of a lot of ingredients for cocktails and some beers. Poor bar staff were quite embarrassed to keep saying they couldn’t make the drink you were asking for. Seeing as a boat goes over to main island every day this should be an easy fix...

Beqa island is very beautiful, the resort is quite luxury, the food is excellent, and the shark dive was spectacular.

It's very expensive. Fiji and Beqa island are the most expensive places I've ever been. You can have a similar holiday in Southeast Asia (e.g., Bali or the islands in Thailand or Malaysia for half the price).

The place is absolutely breathtaking. Beautifully looked after we thoroughly enjoyed our stay The rooms are spacious with private patio and pool and a beautiful view The diving was spectacular and very well organised And not to mention the food that was to die for. The staff are doing an amazing job and you can tell they are happy with their work place. We will def recommend this place to all our divers and non divers friends!
